POSITION OVERVIEW

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the safe installation, maintenance, and repair of Reliant and customer owned carbon dioxide storage systems and related equipment. Responsibilities will include working with our customers as well as the Reliant Gases sales team to deliver solutions and value to the customer. A comprehensive and efficient preventative maintenance program will be used to enhance customer reliability and satisfaction.

This position will report to the Reliant Gases Field Service Manager.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installation, Commissioning and Repair of carbon dioxide supply and delivery systems
• Conduct annual inspections of Reliant and customer owned equipment
• Perform all operations in a safe manner ensuring compliance with local and state codes
• Ability to handle hazardous materials in a safe manner
• Proficient in refrigeration systems and their related equipment
• This position will require overnight travel and being on call
• Most of the field work will occur outdoors, potentially in inclement weather
• Valid drivers license and clean MVR

DESIRED SKILLSET & BACKGROUND

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Trade School HVAC or equivalent experience
• Superior customer communication skills and problems solving ability
• Highly motivated with a genuine desire to succeed
• Self-starter and able to safely work alone
• 5 years industrial gas experience or similar, experience
